Travel Baby Bed - Littlelife Arc 3

We were looking for a travel baby bed that really was a TRAVEL baby bed. NOT your typical 10kg monster, but rather a travel cot ideal for flying with baby.

We wanted one that was light weight, small to pack away, mosquito proof to a degree, comfortable and stable for a toddler.

We trialled the Little life triple arc and we were thoroughly impressed with it.

We took it to Bangladesh, Thailand and Malaysia staying in residential and hotel/resort accomodation.

Our Review - Negative points...

Takes a few attempts to really get the hang of putting it up on your own.

TOP TIP

Put all 3 poles in their sleves, lay it flat, then find the top arc pole and push that one up into place first (it does say this in the instructions, but missing this point makes things difficult).

The base is an odd shape and blankets slide and move when your little one wriggles in their sleep. The first night in it, our dauther woke crying with dribble all matted in her hair and stuck to her face. The dribble had pooled on the plastic-like base because the sheet was scrunched in the corner at her feet. A heavy weight sheet or blanket helps prevent this.

Our Review - Positive points...

Stable. Our daughter was 14 months when we first used this travel baby bed and was standing/walking/crawling. When she woke each morning she would stand up in the middle of the cot (top net open) and push and shove and it always managed to stay upright.

Our child is taller than the cot, so can't stand if the top net is closed - one way to avoid the issue of tipping it up if your toddler is really strong is to keep the top closed.

She just loved it as a play area as well as bed time zone. Still does!

The mosquito netting was great for nasty mozzy countries.

Totally lightweight travel cot, packs up in a suitcase really well. Is squishy when packed so is ideal for cramming into a holiday bag. Its just over 2 kg so doesn't reduce your luggage allowance by much - a huge bonus!

Ours came with the black out cover which was fantastic for helping cope with jet lag - worth purchasing as an extra.

Aside from the lack of matching sheets/blankets, this gets our full travel-baby-travel.com endorsement - a really great travel product.
