Join Our Mile High Club!

Its easy!

All you need to do to join our Mile High Club is share your favourite games, experiences, toys or technology.

Travelling with kids is not easy and being cooped up on an aircraft for any period of time can test the best parents patience.

But with air travel becoming more and more accessible to the us all, its only a matter of time before worried parents are looking for advice on flying with kids.

There are a ton of great toys and technology out there. And often the most simple of games can be the most effective.

Many moons ago, a good friend suggested I take a small roll of cellotape on the flight for our toddler. Yes, you read correctly, cellotape.

I was subsequently amazed at how long a paper cup and the roll of tape kept our toddler occupied!

Seriously!!!

And it was not messy or difficult to enjoy the exercise for myself or my toddler.

Even the technology available on flights today is leaps and bounds ahead of the days of old. Older kids can get lost in hours and hours of films and tv shows provided on-demand for travellers on long haul flights, which is fantastic.

If that is not enough, there are a plethora of hand held gadgets that the youth of today are distracted by on a daily basis.

Gosh, even our mobile phones have games for kids....and I haven't even started down the apple iPhone or iPad and the endless amount of free and paid aps discussion yet...

So all in all, there must be lots of great experiences out there to share - we've had a few.

And given how daunting flying with kids can be at the outset, some positive experiences is just what a first time flying parent needs. To add to all the caution and scare mongering that will come from fiends and family!

Have your say and become a member of our Mile High Club, by writing in (see below) with your favourites and sharing your experiences with other parents looking for tips on flying with a family.

Do you have what it takes to join our 'Mile High Club' ?

Its simple.

If you have a great experience, favourite game or gadget for flying with kids, that helps you and your family pass the time quickly and painlessly...Share it!

Your entry will be added to our collection, for other parents to see, amongst our Mile High Club members submissions.
