Which Baby Travel Strollers for Family Holidays?

Having the use of baby travel strollers on holiday, for most families, is an absolute must.

Unfortunately, getting it to your destination and back generally involves a fair amount of hassle (especially if you are flying with a baby). And often, a whole lot of boot space if you are on a driving holiday.

We looked high and low and spent high and low on different strollers for different occasions.

Travel buggies are generally very expensive items and we were regularly disappointed in one way or another.

Our conclusion is that finding the right travel buggy is really a tough process that pays dividends if you do your research (reading reviews, hints and tips) and get it right from the beginning!

Ultimately it’s a personal thing. We all have different cars and go on different types of holiday and have very different tastes in terms of style.

The baby travel strollers we have reviewed are what we consider proper travel buggies, chosen for their fit to the true travel spirit in all of us. We explain what type of holiday the stroller best suits along with our likes and dislikes.

TOP TIP

A great tip we have been given by friends is to leave your much loved (and often expensive) stroller at home and simply by a ‘disposable’ buggy at your destination. It sounds extravagant but you’ll be amazed at how little some of these little lightweight strollers cost...

...and the benefits are - you don’t have to lug it on and off the plane or worry about it being squished under luggage in the hold of an airplane. And more importantly, it’s not disposable at all. Be generous, pass on the happiness of your fun times by dropping it outside a local charity shop.
